Spring to the Break

It's me again, here to tell you about my oh so eventful spring break. It was full of crazy adventures, roll-down-your-car-windows kind of days, and fun memories. Here is a glimpse at my spring break.

-It started with a fun hike with my best friend, the one and only, Richmond Anthony Anderson. We went to Chuckawala and hiked around. We may or may not have carved some things in the rocks of a little cave. We also may or may not like to pretend that we are models and pose accordingly for the camera (Rich's Iphone)

Please excuse the blurry, yet lovely, model photo.

-Later that night we met up with the whole gang, (Skylar, Sadie, Missy, Shelbee, Addie, Amanda, Devin, Tom, Grace, etc..) and went caving in Snow Canyon Park. That sure was a fun adventure. We splattered glowsticks all over the cave, giving it an outer space type feel. Let me just say, playing hide and go seek in a cave is way better than in your basement. I felt like a little kid trying not to breathe as the finder came near me haha. It was a total blast!

-After playing hide and go seek in the cave, we decided to scooter down to the bottom of the canyon. That did not go over as planned. We made it about 100 yards and Missy turfed it. Major road rash.. That made our night take an unexpected turn. We took her to get all cleaned up at Syd's house and went to get ice cream to finish the night off.

-Monday was Syd's 16th Birthday! She wanted to exercise her driving freedom, so she drove us to Swig. It was a little bit nervewracking as I sat in the backseat, (near death almost 4 times) watching the new driver.

-Airport Hill was the next stop after Swig, we took a few pictures and overlooked the beautiful city of St. Geezy.

-As many of you may not know, I watched every single episode of the Bachelor this season. My friends did as well, so... it is quite obvious what we did on the night of the season finale. We partied!!! Cake and ice cream (For the B-day girl) and the last episode. My friends and I are such girly girls. There were tears shed and chills felt as Shawn proposed to Katherine. haha We're pathetic.

-With the Bachelor on our minds we felt like doing something exciting. We drove up to Airport Hill, yet again, and piled in the back of Syd's new truck and looked at the city and stars. It was a great night with all my girls. I love my friends so much. I love how we can talk about anything and everything, especially the gosepl. We teach each other new things everyday.

-One of the days of Spring Break my friends and I decided to have a sleepover at Amanda's house. When I pulled up to her house, they weren't there. Manda's brother informed me that they were riding on a cookie sheet attached to the back of a truck. I couldn't help but chuckle. I met up with them and joined in on the fun. The cookie sheet didn't work, so we ended up using a bucket. We took turns sitting in the bucket (which was attached by a rope) and being pulled up and down the streets by a truck. You know you're a red neck when you ride in a bucket down the street for entertainment.

-What's a sleepover without a few pranks? Missy is the deepest sleeper I have ever met in my entire life, and frankly, you can do anything you want with her while she is catching zzz's. (I'm talking Parent Trap status) Amanda and I drew on her face, wrapped her in toilet paper, tickled her nose and ears, and put her hand in water. When she woke up the next morning she got a crack up.

-As I mentioned before, Rich promised to take me to Pine Valley. We decided Spring Break was the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, the keys he had to his cabin were not the right ones so we had to eat our food cold and with a knife. haha we know how to rough it. Needless to say, it was still an absolute blast. The weather is absolutely beautiful up there.

Oh and have I mentioned before that we always match unintentionally?
Great minds think alike I guess.

-Being the beautiful day that it was, we felt obligated to go on a hike through the canyon. It was breathtaking.

This is what we did on the way up. Excuse the bad quality and cheesiness. I feel as if I will one day regret putting this video on, but for now, I will just embrace the weirdness. haha

-The last few days of Spring Break were spent with my wonderful family in Salt Lake. My dad and brother went to a Jazz game while my mom, aunt, cousin, and I shopped our little hearts out. It was my kind of vacation.

And that's a wrap!

Farewell Idleness

I have come to a conclusion... If I do not frequently blog, then I have to catch up by posting marathon posts. I have decided that from this day forward I am going to blog more. I have been so idle lately. It is not that I don't necessarily have time to blog, but it is that I am too lazy to do so. However, my life needs to be documented, because it is oh so exciting (she says sarcastically.) But really, I am going to try my best to keep my life updated. And here are the past few months marathon post style.

Valentine's Day with Rich. . He took me on a picnic to Chuckawala. We ate, exchanged gifts, laughed, smiled, and had a grand old time. Rich gave me a card (in the shape of a heart..) that said some cute things that will not be shared on social media. He also gave me a ticket that reads, (Front)"This ticket basically means you can have me for a day, I will be your personal slave! You can do whatever you want! (Back) 1 Free ticket to P.V. includes... Food and beverages, cabin for the day, movie of your choice, hike through the canyon, a ton of back rubs, and a record player."
I had to share this picture mainly because of his hair and my hilarious face.
A sunday walk up Snow Canyon with the people I love most. NOTICE: Alexa and I are matching from the waist down. Tevas and all.
Five words. State Basketball was a party.
My friends and I made the best of our trip. We were hot tubbing in the hotel pool and decided to do the polar bear plunge for kicks and giggles. Kitty captured the moment splendidly.
While the other girls were inside the hotel room watching T.V. we played in the snow.

The team.
