-It started with a fun hike with my best friend, the one and only, Richmond Anthony Anderson. We went to Chuckawala and hiked around. We may or may not have carved some things in the rocks of a little cave. We also may or may not like to pretend that we are models and pose accordingly for the camera (Rich's Iphone)
Please excuse the blurry, yet lovely, model photo.
-Later that night we met up with the whole gang, (Skylar, Sadie, Missy, Shelbee, Addie, Amanda, Devin, Tom, Grace, etc..) and went caving in Snow Canyon Park. That sure was a fun adventure. We splattered glowsticks all over the cave, giving it an outer space type feel. Let me just say, playing hide and go seek in a cave is way better than in your basement. I felt like a little kid trying not to breathe as the finder came near me haha. It was a total blast!
-After playing hide and go seek in the cave, we decided to scooter down to the bottom of the canyon. That did not go over as planned. We made it about 100 yards and Missy turfed it. Major road rash.. That made our night take an unexpected turn. We took her to get all cleaned up at Syd's house and went to get ice cream to finish the night off.
-Monday was Syd's 16th Birthday! She wanted to exercise her driving freedom, so she drove us to Swig. It was a little bit nervewracking as I sat in the backseat, (near death almost 4 times) watching the new driver.
-Airport Hill was the next stop after Swig, we took a few pictures and overlooked the beautiful city of St. Geezy.
-With the Bachelor on our minds we felt like doing something exciting. We drove up to Airport Hill, yet again, and piled in the back of Syd's new truck and looked at the city and stars. It was a great night with all my girls. I love my friends so much. I love how we can talk about anything and everything, especially the gosepl. We teach each other new things everyday.
-One of the days of Spring Break my friends and I decided to have a sleepover at Amanda's house. When I pulled up to her house, they weren't there. Manda's brother informed me that they were riding on a cookie sheet attached to the back of a truck. I couldn't help but chuckle. I met up with them and joined in on the fun. The cookie sheet didn't work, so we ended up using a bucket. We took turns sitting in the bucket (which was attached by a rope) and being pulled up and down the streets by a truck. You know you're a red neck when you ride in a bucket down the street for entertainment.
-What's a sleepover without a few pranks? Missy is the deepest sleeper I have ever met in my entire life, and frankly, you can do anything you want with her while she is catching zzz's. (I'm talking Parent Trap status) Amanda and I drew on her face, wrapped her in toilet paper, tickled her nose and ears, and put her hand in water. When she woke up the next morning she got a crack up.
-As I mentioned before, Rich promised to take me to Pine Valley. We decided Spring Break was the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, the keys he had to his cabin were not the right ones so we had to eat our food cold and with a knife. haha we know how to rough it. Needless to say, it was still an absolute blast. The weather is absolutely beautiful up there.
Oh and have I mentioned before that we always match unintentionally?
Great minds think alike I guess.
-Being the beautiful day that it was, we felt obligated to go on a hike through the canyon. It was breathtaking.
This is what we did on the way up. Excuse the bad quality and cheesiness. I feel as if I will one day regret putting this video on, but for now, I will just embrace the weirdness. haha
-The last few days of Spring Break were spent with my wonderful family in Salt Lake. My dad and brother went to a Jazz game while my mom, aunt, cousin, and I shopped our little hearts out. It was my kind of vacation.
And that's a wrap!
